Each year, Campus Safety honors the best products and services in the industries we write about with our BEST (Best Electronic Systems Technologies) Awards. The Campus Safety BEST Awards recognize superlative security, law enforcement, emergency management, and life safety solutions across the industry.
With eight main product categories (outlined in more detail below), the awards give product manufacturers and electronic systems integrators an opportunity to put their solutions to the test against peers in the industry.
Early bird deadline for entries is April 15. The final deadline to apply for consideration is June 3.
The winners of each BEST category will:
- Be featured in the Campus Safety Best Awards Gallery on CampusSafetyMagazine.com
- Be announced in our newsletter and receive broad online exposure on campussafetymagazine.com
- Be announced at Campus Safety Conference West in Los Angeles, August 2-4
- Be featured on Campus Safety’s sister websites SecuritySales.com, CommercialIntegrator.com, and MyTechDecisions.com
- Receive use of the Campus Safety Best Award Winner Logo for your company website and email signature lines.
- Receive a press release template that you can distribute announcing that you have won this prestigious honor.
- Receive a beautiful Campus Safety BEST trophy.

“Campus Safety magazine takes pride in focusing on content that helps school, college and healthcare protection professionals keep their students, staff members, patients, visitors, and campuses safe and secure,” says Robin Hattersley Gray, executive editor of Campus Safety. “The BEST Awards program helps our readers in their due diligence efforts when selecting products and services for their organizations.”
Winners will be announced on CampusSafetyMagazine.com and at Campus Safety Conference West. They will also be privately notified through an email before the public announcement.
Products are judged by an unbiased panel of credible industry leaders along with the editors of Campus Safety. Judges will consider all aspects involved such as innovation, functionality, and benefits to the end user.
