Hiya r/solar!
I’ve got three local quotes (Whiskey and Tango below are the same company) and Tesla. I’d love to get the community’s input on these. I’ve not negotiated or shared the quotes between the companies, yet.
I suspect my roof can probably only do 21 panels, and that’ll be a snug fit (for the South-facing roof). As you can see below, one company does not offer battery installs. Anything beyond 21 would need to move onto a separate roof, which would probably drive up cost. My roof is almost perfectly south facing. If I need more power in the future, I’ll install in my yard. 🙂
Which would you pick? I’ve got one I’m leaning towards, for sure. I’m especially curious about the hardware/inverters and any feedback there.
