I’m about to pull the trigger on a 17.4 kw system (REC + Solar Edge) and going through the contract, it states
The customer is responsible for the operation, monitoring and maintenance of his or her system. Customer needs to work directly with the manufacturers of his or her products before contacting (installer name) as service charges will be incurred. Inverter and monitoring technical support numbers for REC is xxx-xxx-xxxx and Solar Edge is xxx-xxx-xxxx.
Is it normal that the warranty goes through the manufacturer and not the installer?
