I have two quotes – one for REC and another for Sunpower. I’m not sure which is the better system.
REC – 39 Panel REC 395 BOB with Enphase Energy IQ 8 inverter – 15,482 kWh
Sunpower – 30 Panel SPR-M425-BLK-H-AC – 14,303 kWh
What questions should I be asking? Which panels / company are better? Should I be asking for better panels? I wish the Sunpower was putting out more. This company is being a pain with adding more panels which the other company did (39 lol). Does REC make higher/better panels I should be asking for?
The REC installer also said that Sunpower has had a lot of issues with cracking and with Maxion, but I’m not sure if they’re just BS’ing me or not.
