Help with last two solar quotes in FL – Project Solar or local installer

Advertisements

I’ve narrowed my solar search down to these last 2 options. Their layouts are a bit different, and I’m curious if the unbiased experts out there can help guide me in the right direction. Any red flags with either quote (regarding brand, price, placement, etc)? Which one would you pick, or neither?

Opt 1 (Project Solar) – $25.3k, 11.85 kW, 30 Q-cells Q.PEAK 395w panels with IQ8+ microinverters thoughts – best ppw ($2.14) & panel brand, not sure about the panel placement especially on the north side of the roof. they’re based in Utah so they ship me the panels and someone local installs them (only 10 year labor warranty).

opt 1

Opt 2 (SunVena) – $25k, 9.99 kW, 27 Silfab 370w panels with IQ7+ microinverters
thoughts – OK ppw ($2.50), all inclusive 25 yr warranty (production, labor, roof etc) as long as their company stays afloat – currently 3 yrs old but amazing reviews. Silfab seems to be a pretty good panel.

opt 2
