Hello, my wife and I are interested in going solar. We just moved into our newly built house last year in February. The house is a 2,500 sq ft house and our yearly power usage was a little over 9,300 kWh (will be going up with the baby on the way) I received a quote from 2 companies so far and am wondering if I should consider one of these options or continue shopping. Thanks!
1st Company- Envision
- Modules- (x30) Hanwha Q.PEAK DUO BLK ML-G10+ – 400W
- Inverter- Enphase
- System Size- 12Kw
- Loan amount- $53,687.94 and factoring in federal and state tax credit brings it down to $38,729 and they are paying the first 9 months.
- Monthly Payment- $146 with a 30 year loan at 1.99% APR
2nd Company- Freedom Forever Solar
- 30 Modules but say which modules.
- Inverter- Enphase
- System Size- 12Kw
- Loan Amount- $47,482.01 and factoring in federal and state tax credit it comes down to $34,136.69 and they are paying the first year.
- Monthly Payments- $132 with a 30 year loan at 1.99% APR
- They are also including a free security system through vivint security but that doesn’t sway my decision whatsoever.
