Advice needed- adding batteries to grid tied system

Advertisements

I have 14kw solar panels tied to solaredge se10000h-us inverter.

Saw packaged deal on bigbattery website where they are selling lithium iron phosphate batteries with growatt inverter at decent price.

  1. Are LiFePO4 batteries good for long term storage as I will be adding them inside garage which has no cooling and I live in mid west where temperatures get 100 easily on a normal day.

  2. Can Growatt inverter work in parallel with solaredge or do I need to remove solaredge invereter? I have solaredge power optimizers tied to every single panel on roof just in case it helps. Their customer care told me growatt has a phone app which only works with bluetooth.

Can you recommend any other combination or help on how you may have done in your case?
