Adding a gas generator with transfer switch to panel before or after solar install

Hey guys, I’m getting a sunpower solar grid tie setup installed in the next month or so. I have decided to see if I could incorporate a generator transfer switch and power 6-8 of my main components in a black out off a generator.

The company installing the solar stated they would be tapping their lines into the electrical wires coming into the panel from the provider on the outside.

Is there a major safety issue with my setup? Would I need to shut off the power from the solar to the grid when I’m running the generator? Before it gets asked, I am not installing any kind of battery backup.
