I’m trying to review and finalize selection of an enphase solar install. I obviously know that the iq8a has the higher watt output. But I’m just trying to see if there’s any downside to it? I had read some people saying because it was higher output, it wouldn’t make as much output in the lower light hours? How can I tell if going iq8a would be a bad decision (I’m hoping it’s not) I’m in Dallas Texas suburb. Somewhat complex roof line, where only some would face south, but other would be east and west. Trying to shoot for a 11-12kwh system. Most quote are including either 395w-400 panels, but one was with 440w aptos panels. I’ve been looking at pvwatts, but aren’t sure on some of my roof angles, and spacing. Anyone know a place I can pay (not too much, $100-$200?) for a roof 3D model to help with this info? Thanks.
