American Express and Hilton have four co-branded credit cards. We’ve just seen the return of an excellent welcome offer on the no annual fee card in the portfolio, which could seriously be worth considering.
Earn 100K Hilton points + $100 statement credit
The Hilton Honors Card from American Express has no annual fee (Rates & Fees) and through October 26, 2022, the card is offering a welcome bonus that includes points and a statement credit:
- Earn 100,000 Hilton Honors bonus points after spending $1,000 within three months
- Earn up to a $100 statement credit on eligible purchases made with the card at Hilton family properties within the first 12 months
Personally I value Hilton Honors points at 0.5 cents each, so to me the points are worth $500, plus the potential $100 statement credit, for up to $600 in value. That’s an amazing offer for a no annual fee card.
Beyond the welcome offer, the Hilton Honors Amex Card offers the following in the long run:
- 7x points for spending at Hilton hotels
- Hilton Honors Silver status for as long as you have the card
- Hilton Honors Gold status when you spend $20,000 on the card in a calendar year

When it comes to eligibility for the welcome offer, note that each Hilton Honors credit card is considered independently. You can only earn the bonus on each card once, so if you’ve never had the no annual fee Hilton Honors Card from American Express, you should be eligible for the bonus.
The standard American Express card application rules apply, including that you’re generally limited to having five Amex credit cards at a given point (this doesn’t include charge cards and hybrid cards). For those with excellent credit, I find Amex credit cards to be among the easiest to be approved for.
Bottom line
Through October 26, 2022, the Hilton Honors Card from American Express is offering an incredible bonus of 100,000 Hilton Honors points upon completing minimum spending, plus up to $100 in statement credits for Hilton stays within the first 12 months.
This is an excellent offer for a no annual fee card, so if you don’t have this card and haven’t had it in the past, I’d highly recommend applying with this offer.
