Help; new to solar, powerwall and EV (SDGE)

Advertisements

I just received PTO! I’m very excited about having solar in SoCal (San Diego).

We recently got a solar system, powerwall and a model Y.

Prior to PTO, I had the powerwall charging and discharging daily, but it seems like that may not be the best thing?

I don’t want my powerwall charging my car, I think that may be inefficient. I also want to reduce non bypassable charges as much as possible.

We are net producers (barely run AC, have nice breeze to keep us cool).

4.8 KW system, 1 powerwall, 1 EV.

What’s the best way to make this system the most efficient and best savings/usage for my family?
