Two Kendrick Lamar Loosies From 2015’s ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’ Leak Online

Two unreleased Kendrick Lamar tracks, “Falsehood” and “Organized Madness” have leaked  years after being recorded for To Pimp A Butterfly.

Two never-before-heard Kendrick Lamar tracks have leaked online. On Sunday (December 11), the rapper’s unreleased tracks “Falsehood” and “Organized Madness” made their way to the internet, originally intended for Lamar’s 2015 album To Pimp A Butterfly.

HipHop-N-More describes “Falsehood” as a “groovy” track with bars which sound intended for Lamar’s longtime mentor and occasional collaborator Dr. Dre. Consisting of three verses, the final verse was repurposed for the album version of “i.” Second track, “Organized Madness” features vocals from Thundercat, whose voice and guitar was heard on Lamar’s “Complexion” and “These Walls.”

TPAB was Lamar’s first Grammy-winning album, earning the rapper Best Rap Album and Best Rap/Sung Performance (“These Walls”) in 2016. The year before, Lamar won Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for the radio version of “i.” Lamar swiftly followed TPAB with 2016 compilation album Untitled Unmastered, with cuts that didn’t make his 2015 album, including collaborations with Bilal, Anna Wise, Cee-Lo Green, SZA, Thundercat and others.

Lamar’s unreleased material from latest album Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers leaked mid-year and in 2018, Lamar’s collaborative efforts with Kanye West, SZA and Jay Rock were made available online. While Lamar is completing The Big Steppers Tour this month, his fifth LP received multiple nominations for the 2023 Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, Best Rap Album, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song and Best Music Video, the latter five for “The Heart Part 5.”
