How Danielle Miller went from socialite to swindler

The new season of Queen of the Con tells the wild story of how the New York ‘rich girl’ stole $1m from the US government. Plus: five of the best documentary podcasts

What a wonderfully relaxing and stress-free time of year the festive period is, hey? No, thought not. Luckily, this week sees one of Stormzy’s musical collaborators and his therapist pal launch a new mental health podcast that takes listeners through the benefits of therapy – as well as when it might be helpful. Couldn’t be better timed.

Elsewhere, we’re delving into the world of documentary podcasts, with a selection of excellent deep dives ranging from the tale of one of Hong Kong’s most wanted men to a thoughtful look at online trolling. Recommendations this week also include Tim Key telling oddball tales about London pubs, and the story of a scammer who was arrested while recovering from a “Brazilian butt lift”.
