How long is solar from start to finish suppose to take?

I signed my Project Solar agreement back at the beginning of October 2022. I was told that an upgrade to a 200amp main panel was recommended which i agreed and signed an amendment for an increase in price. Project Solar and SolarePwr told me they were trying to get SCE to inspect the panel. Well that took a few weeks until I took the initiative and called SCE and they came out the next day and approved of the MPU. I sent both project solar and solarepwr the picture of the approval. They said they are progressing well. Great. First week of december i emailed and signed the interconnection form and the form that says ill be using a lot of electricity in the future which is why im purchasing more solar panels than what is typical for my home size. Fast forward to January and i email both of them. Project solar tells me they are waiting for the mpu inspection. I told them i already emailed them both the proof.. they even replied to the email. So after that mess, project solar tells me they had a meeting with solarepwr and that im scheduled to have my mpu and panel installation before end of january and that ill be contacted to schedule the date. Well january has come and gone. Nothing. Not even a call or an apology that I still dont have my panels. I emailed and called and i get the same responses of “looking into it.”

Is this normal?? Im getting frustrated with the lack of communication and headless chickens running around. I feel like im the actual project manager and always keeping tabs on these folks instead of a worry free project.
