After teasing a new project late last year, Tobi rekindles the album campaign with a MAVI-assisted update to a dosed and daggering 2022 single produced by El Michels and Alex Goose.
YUNGMORPHEUS – “Layman’s Terms”
YUNGMORPHEUS glides across tender hums and rolling keys on this JUNIE-produced preview of his upcoming full-length album, From Whence It Came, which is set to arrive on April 28th via Lex Records, featuring appearances from MED, lojii, Jimetta Rose, Fly Anakin, and more.
Jordan Ward – “Cherimoya”
St. Louis artist, Jordan Ward , flips a slinky guitar riff and a few bites of a strangely sweet fruit into a dreamy r&b suite. It’s one of Ward’s best songs to date and the latest single off the singer’s newly announced debut album, Forward, which is set to land on March 3rd via ARTium Recordings and Interscope, featuring contributions from Gwen Bunn, Joyce Wrice, Lido, and more.
Madison McFerrin – “(Please Don’t) Leave Me Now”
Madison McFerrin pushes through a lingering trauma with a breezy, footwork-friendly groove on the first single from her upcoming debut album, I Hope You Can Forgive Me, which is set for release on May 12th.
Cleo Reed – “Letter To You”
Cleo Reed closes out her emotional and kaleidoscopic debut project, Root Cause, with a regenerative hymn. Reed’s new album is out now, featuring appearances from Nick Hakim, Sifa, Alanna.oh, and more.
