200w solar panels on van roof – wired in series, 37v output at start / finish of cabling, solar controller saying 9v output…

Advertisements

2 x 100W solar panels on the roof, mounted in series. 2 x 120ah lead acid batteries at 12v

  • At the start of the series (from PV array) a multimeter shows 37v
  • at the end of the cabling (to my solar controller) I’m getting 37v
  • EPEVER 3210AN tracer solar controller shows only 9v from PV on screen and no charge to battery (naturally)

Is the charge controller screwed?? Or should I be testing elsewhere?
