Indian iron ore miner NMDC is reportedly discussing lithium exploration and mining with Australia’s Hancock Prospecting. The countries are among those seeking lithium supply deals to develop rechargeable batteries for electric vehicles. India discovered its first lithium reserves in February and is seeking overseas mining resources.
