Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel and his deputy T S Singh Deo seem to have differing views on the BJP-led Modi government. Singh Deo, who shared stage with Prime Minister Modi at a function in Raigarh, praised the Centre for its cooperation with state governments, while Baghel has in the past accused the Centre of using agencies like the ED and conducting raids to suppress and defame the Chhattisgarh government. Baghel has also criticized the Centre for not releasing outstanding payments to the state.
