ASI likely to file report on Gyanvapi survey today

The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) is expected to submit its report on the scientific study and survey of the Gyanvapi Complex to the district judge’s court in Varanasi. The court had ordered the survey to determine if the Gyanvapi mosque was built on the site of a temple. It is uncertain whether the ASI will submit the report or request more time to complete the compilation process. The ASI began the scientific study of the mosque on July 24.
