Private equity-venture capital deals inch up to $1.7billion in Feb

Private equity-venture capital firms have invested in 72 deals worth $1.7 billion in Feb 2024, which is an increase by $400 million over the value of investments made in the same month last year. The Jan-Feb period this year witnessed collective investments to the tune of $4.5 billion, a jump by $1 billion when compared with the corresponding period in 2023 at $3.5 billion, data from Venture Intelligence showed.
