Enphase microinverters not reporting and power generation

I just had a 30kwh system installed using Enphase IQ8 inverters. Right now I’m seeing up to 50% of the inverters not reporting at any given time and am working with the installer to resolve this issue.

Had a couple questions about microinverter function:
1. Are they generating power when they marked as not reporting? (ie: assuming the inverter isn’t totally dead, is this just a monitoring issue)

Do the inverters buffer reporting data? If they are able to reconnect, will they send a backlog of data to be processed?
