Looking for some advice.

I live in CA and want to add about seven more panels before NEM 3 takes effect in mid April. My original installer gave me what I feel is a fair quote. My current arrays total thirty two, 375 watt LG panels (now discontinued) and 32 Enphase IQ7+ micro inverters. The new proposal is to add :

7 QCell 405 panels7 IQ8 modules1 combiner box for a total of $9885 (roughly $3.15/watt before tax incentives)

Or, if I just want to stick with the IQ7+ modules, I can skip the new combiner box and save $816.

My goal is maximum energy production. Will adding these panels with IQ8 result in significant gains over going with IQ7+? O are we splitting hairs, here?

I should add that I have a 24kWh ESS as well. Thanks! Oh, three of the new panels will be facing south and four will be on the east side of the roof. Pretty maxxed out already on south and west facing sections.
