Will critter guard installation qualify for 30% Fed tax credit?

Advertisements

If the installer list critter guard as an ‘add-on’ in their contract/invoice for the solar array installation. Will I run into issue with the accountant during tax time to justify 30% Fed credit for that? (any tax document I can refer them to)

Should I insist have the installer include that charge as part of the ‘solar system’ itself in the contract/invoice?
