Enphase vs Tesla Battery Storage

Advertisements

I am moving forward with my solar panels + battery storage, and the remaining question I am trying to decide is whether I should go with Enphase or Tesla battery.

The installer is telling me that Enphase plays nicely with my Enphase Micro-Inverter and that it has a 15 year warranty (Vs Tesla’s 10 year). But as a Tesla owner I just think it will fit within my app and ecosystem appropriately. Tesla’s capacity is also bigger at 13.5kWh and cleaner with just one battery instead of two of the Enphase batteries.

Does anyone have experience and/or opinions about them? YouTube videos say they are both great. Does it really matter that the micro inverter is also Enphase?

Here are my specs so far:

Panel: Pansonic EverVolt 400w (6.8kW)
Micro-Inverter: Enphase IQ8M

Battery: Enphase IQ5P 5kWh x2 or Tesla Powerwall+ 13.5kWh
