PG&E NEM with Tesla Powerwall or Enphase battery?

Advertisements

Question for those folks who are (NEM 2.0) solar customers with battery backup in PG&E territory. Do either the Tesla Powerwall or Enphase battery system have a user-selectable mode for the following actions:

  • Charge battery from grid overnight.
  • Prioritize peak period electricity usage from battery, then solar, and then grid. Thus, sending any excess PV production (when using battery only, or battery plus PV) at that moment to the grid.
